Chemo Day 3 of 5
Like Cube said.... yesterday was a good day. Last night was good also. No nausea and Andrea slept really well. So far, today, she is feeling good and everything with the chemo is going very smoothly. Below is a video from Andrea to everyone who has been following this blog and a picture of Andrea and I at the hospital.

I'm sooooo pulling for you! It's amazing that you are going thru so much yet have such a great spirit! I so believe a person's 'spirit' has so much to do with healing and you certainly have it 1000 times over! Keep that spirit! You GO girl!
Anshul's efforts with this blog is absolutely wonderful. I can't wait to meet such a wonderful nephew-in-law! Thank you Anshul for this blog! I'm sorry we didn't 'meet' under happier times, but nonetheless, we will, I just know it!
I meant to write yesterday, was off work but my hedge trimmer wouldn't start ... my mower kept over-heating and stalling on me. I knew there was supposed to be a heavy rainstorm today.
Well, today we got that heavy rainstorm, I was on-call at the hospital, got called in tonight right in the mix of things. Boy, a scary ride to the hospital, lightning and thunder and torrential rain. All went well.
I'm so happy you finally got the package I sent and liked it.
Well Dear, only on-call for another 30 minutes so feel safe in going to bed. I hope you and Anshul, Sharon and Joe and Kathleen sleep well. Tomorrow is another day of healing!

(first of all, think of the tune to the Mickey Mouse song)...and then "Hey there-Hi there-Ho there- You're as pretty as can be.....AND-REA-R-O-SE" (I guess it's a good thing I didn't become a comedian...........). Sweet Andrea, how wonderful to hear your voice. You are so strong, and have come so far in your fight. I know there is nothing that you and Anshul can't handle as long as you're together. Anshul, thank you for bringing me into the new age of blogging...this is the cat's meow (OK, I know I'm showing my age). Hey beautiful Kathleen, Happy 25th Birthday. You and Andrea are so blessed to have each other. I always told my Lauren and Britta that they would be best friends when they got older (I probably told them that during one of their hair-pulling, name-calling "Hallmark Moments"), and they certainly are closer now. By the way, Lauren told me she saw you two and Sharon while shopping at Harrolds (Xmas time?, I don't recall). Unfortunately, the store closed so she's working parttime at a specialty cheese shop in the same area. She works w/me at Travelers, tho in a different unit, and I'm blessed to see her every day. We meet every morning in the break room as I get ice for my TaB (yes, they still make it) or Diet Coke (hey Sharon, remember the IV's and Diet Cokes at your kitchen table?) Anyway, I LOVE IT having her there, tho people get us confused since we look so much alike (well, I actually made that part up). Britta recently got a job at our local library, and is the "Young Adult Librarian". She has always loved to read, and it's close to home so she can help her Daddy if needed, and even has health/dental/eye insurance! (now I REALLY sound older). Be assured the entire Taylor and Mangal families are in our prayers in a "stepped up version", since I always include my dear friends in my prayers on a "normal" day.
