Andrea had a great day yesterday until the evening. Her dad and Kathleen were here. So, she want on a nice long walk outside with them. She also ate a full meal which she has not done for a few weeks. She had pizza and salad.
The day was good for the most part. In the evening she had a rough go. The doctors surgically installed a port-a-cath in Andrea's left shoulder area. A port-a-cath is a permanent IV hookup. It is nice because she does not have to get stuck with needles all the time when they need blood or need to administer any sort of medicine or chemotherapy. However, it has been bleeding lately and we can't figure out why. So, they had to change the needles of the port-a-cath last night (it is called recanulating) and it was very painful for Andrea. This morning it seems to have stopped bleeding. So, maybe what they did last night helped. Chemo starts tomorrow hopefully and we need this port to be working 100%.
Other than that, today should be another good day. Mrs. Taylor is bringing in breakfast and I have promised Andrea Chinese food.
Andrea also got a nice phone call from our family in India - Naresh Cha-Cha and Promila Cha-Chi. It was really nice to hear from them. We love them very much.
Finally, I have posted a picture of Andrea when she was near 5 or 6 years old. This picture shows Andrea with her childhood friends, Luke and Adam.

andrea, glad to hear you were able to go outside for a walk, ate a full meal AND had a date night. that must have felt great! shul, always to the rescue, superman! you're andrea's rock, always been.
erick was in town this weekend and he says hi.
ps you guys owe us a lot of dates by the way. lol! movies and lao's, haha! andrea, some things never change. we miss you guys a lot, we're always thinking of you, we love you so much.

This is Becca (Adam's wife) I am at work her at Rileys in Indianapolis and got on to check your blog to see how things were going and i seen the picture. It brought a smile to my face. I just tried to call Beckey to see if she had seen it yet, but I couldnt get an answer. I will tell here about it when I get a chance. I hope you are feeling well and I will be praying for you. Adam sends his love. He finally got to see your blog on saturday and was glad he got to see it. We are all doing well as can be.
