Andrea was about to be weaned off the ventilator when she developed a fever and a drop in her blood pressure. They are treating it like a serious infection until they know differently. The gave her two units of blood and several new antibiotics. She seems to be having a better afternoon. I read her the blog postings she seemed to relax more. Since she is unable to talk due to the endotrachial tube into her lungs to help her breath. Then the medications they are giving her cause he to be very sedated and may be making her confused. So has intermittent episodes of waking up with fear and confusion and few episodes of her seeming to understand what is going on. She was so deathly ill when she was put on the ventilator and she has no idea about the chest tube in her chest. It seems so hard but she keeps working so hard. So keep Andrea in your thoughts and prayers we are trying to hold onto some good momentum. Thank you from the taylors

Hey Andrea....I came by for a visit earlier this week. Although you were sleeping peacefully, your Mom and I had a nice visit. I even got to see your Dad for a short time...you know, THE PROFESSIONAL! I told you and your Mom that no matter how sick you are, you are still so beautiful inside AND out! You have so many prayers and good thoughts going to the Heavens for you and your entire family. I'll try to stop by some evening next week too. Until then, remember you are loved. Lisa D.

Thinking of you Andrea. I'm so sad that you have to go through this but from what I've been able to read on your blog you're doing incredible things. Don't give up, keep fighting. ~Andrew Jones
Hi Anee and Taylors, was glad to look at the blog and see updates. Know everyone is busy and stressed but, it let's many know what's going on all at one time. We have been sick with the things that are going around. Luke's baby, Addie (4 months) got the RSV virus. She was bad about 4 days then began to get better. Luke and Gabe got some infection and had to get meds to get over it. Shane's whole family got sick, all within 3 days, so all were home together. Adam came home from work sick. He seemed better the next day. I was sick for 2 weeks and went to get meds, am better now. Rick's mom was in the hospital, thought it was her heart, but it was her thyroid. Have been finding lots of mushrooms this week, but it has been raining so much it's hard to go and not get wet.
Sorry you have had it so bad Anee. We pray the up-side is very close. Seems like you have had good decision making people around you to help you. We love all of you so much. Think of you everyday. All of us send our love and prayers. The Thomas Family
Been chatting with Mr. P yesterday/today via FB. Made me think of you, of course. Next time we're together, remind me to tell you my story of my visit to the American Pavilion at Epcot (site of our competition performance) when I was on my honeymoon. Funny. :-) Love you! Stay strong! I'm coming to see you when school gets out. Anna

Dear Andrea, In this season of new life, restoration and freedom I hope that you feel
renewed energy and strength and are able to see and soon enjoy the warming days of spring. It's beautiful outside with the dogwood trees and tulips in bloom. When I see flowers I often think of you and your love of nature and horticulture. love Ann Shepherd
