Today was a tough day for all of us, but it ended well. Andrea has been having more fevers and still has a great deal of pain in her shoulder/arm. She also has been hallucinating a little lately. She will sometimes see animals in the room when they are not present. She does know they are not real. So, little to say, we all have been on super-red alert these past few days. She also had a bunch of tests last couple days and we received results of those tests this morning.
The tests showed that Andrea still has a rare fungal infection in her lungs, in her brain, and in other parts of her body. Needless to say, when we found out, we all were taken back, were extremely worried, and just in somewhat utter disbelief. So, it was a fairly rough morning when we all found out. The afternoon, however, provided all of us a little more comfort. A very good doctor, who has been treating her infection, informed us that even though the type infection she has and way it has presented itself is rare, it is very curable. He even felt even though Andrea has had fevers the past few weeks that she is already on the mend. He also put her on an additional anti-fungal medication that will take care of any time of infection in the brain and other parts of her body. He also reassured us that there should be no long term effects on her brain or anywhere else. The drug, however, has terrible side effects which Andrea will have to deal with for a short period of time. The drug is name amphotericin and the doctors here call it ampho-terrible. But if it makes Andrea feel better, we are all for it. Even though it has side effects, Andrea is extremely tough and I know she is willing to do anything to get better.
I am not exactly sure when Andrea will be better though. It is hard to peg an exact date down. The doctor indicated anywhere from a few days to a week. Hopefully, it is the former. After the visit from the doctor and hearing his plan to cure Andrea of this fungal infection, we all felt much better and somewhat relieved. Andrea even went for a nice stroll outside with Mr. & Mrs. Taylor and Kathleen. Then, all of us, including my parents, ate dinner together and watched yet another chick flick.
In all, a terrible morning, a good afternoon, a great evening and a little more hope of better days ahead for Andrea.
A little hope of better days

Hi Anni-Today I helped water the garden and flower pots, and had so much fun doing it. I laid myself down in the puddles and mud, and just enjoyed the water. Anshul's parents were watching me, so I felt cool with the audience. I also love your watering can. I can only have a little water in it, but I love to carry it around and pour it on my sister. I am waiting for you to come home, so we can play in the hammock and eat tomatoes. I hope that you knock out the bad guys in your body soon. I look at your house everyday, and point, and am waiting for you. Bye Annie-
I Love u,
Max A.
