Andrea has had a tough past few days. She has been extremely nauseated and has been having joint pain. We have tried giving her everything we know we can give for nausea and it still has not helped her very much. Today, the doctors are going to try and give her a steroid called decadron to help with her nausea. Hopefully, that will make her feel better.
Also, her potassium, magnesium, and calcium levels have been fairly low these past few days. That is most likely due to the ampho anti-fungal medication that she was getting. As I mentioned before, they have stopped the ampho, but her electrolyte levels still have not come back to normal yet. She is receiving supplements to help. We are also hoping that getting these levels back to normal will make her feel better.
For now, seems as though she will be in the hospital for a few more days until her nausea has stopped and her electrolyte levels are back to normal. Tomorrow, one of her cousins, Ross and his wife Julie Fischer are coming to visit from Indianapolis. Andrea is looking forward to seeing and I think a visit from family is exactly what she needs right now.

Hi Andrea and Anshul,
Andrea, we're so sorry you feel so crappy yet very happy to hear you are in remission. Travis is at the soccer field with the boys. They still use the soccer ball that Anshul gave the boys a few years ago. Unfortunately, our Owen prefers to hop and dance around on the field instead of kicking the ball! Hope to hear you are feeling better soon. Lots of hugs, Travis, Cecile, Ethan and Owen White
Hi Andrea, Anshul, Sharon, Joe and Kathleen,
Andrea, I hope this new antibiotic regime will get you up and going! I'm glad your cousins could come for a visit with you. I'll try and leave on a Friday and come back on a Sunday, soon. I was thinking it was a 10 hour drive from Cleveland but understand it is only 6 hours.
I hope you can get some fresh air. It will be good for you. Take care, my Dear. Love, Aunt Deb XOXOX
