Her white blood count is getting back to normal. They were 1.82 today. That made her feel better. She was very chipper in the morning and slept great last night.
Her mouth sores are improving. However, her abdominal wound is now infected and more painful. It is not looking so good now. Also her nausea came back today. So, good morning turned into a not so pleasant afternoon/evening.
She is also having tests done, a bone scan, cat san, pet scan, in the next few days. Hopefully, those tests will show that the cancer is completely gone or at least the tumor is ver tiny.
So we took some steps forward and some back. Hopefully, she will keep improving and the wound will not become an issue. The doctors may discharge us to go home this thursday. If her wound doesn't improve, we may be here longer. So, we are staying positive and looking forward to good news tomorrow.

Well, it's great that your white blood count is up, but I'm sorry to hear that your wound is infected.
My dad also had problems with mouth sores when he had his chemotherapy. Do popsicles help?
I just noticed a message on the answering machine from Kathleen on Saturday. Obviously, we don't check it that often. I'll try to call her back tomorrow. It's probably too late tonight.

We are so glad that your counts are up - and that you got a great night's sleep last night. I had lunch with Joe yesterday at this small out of the way, very authentic chinese restaraunt called, "Panda Express". We were served by two men; one named Juan Xia Ping and Jose' Tse Tung. Very good I would recommend it highly, but let's not let the secret get out too much! He filled me in on how much everyone is working together to help you! We had a nice talk and look forward to the day when we can take you to our out of the way secret hole in the wall restaraunt! WE LOVE YOU! John, Lisa, Emily, Sam, Sunny!!!

Lucy, my 'chubby' chihuahua jumped off the couch and broke her leg last night. Today, I spent the day at the emergency clinic. I got to bring her home after surgery. I guess I'll be spending some nights sleeping on the floor. whoops, gotta go, she just woke up.
