Andrea is feeling pretty good this morning. She is on her way as I type to the Lincoln Park Farmer's Market - a small outdoor market near our condo. Her body is also healing well. Her shoulder has less pain, her head rash is less painful, and the wound in her abdomen is almost healed.
Also, Andrea's father and sister are on their way up so that should make her feel even better.

Wow, I've not seen so many positive reports, Andrea! I'm confident you're definitely heading for the "checkered flag" (can you tell Speedway's been busy this summer?), although I actually never had any doubts you'd get there. Been very busy at work...long hrs. Sven's been a bit under the weather. Saw "The Wedding Singer" at the Vanity theatre in Crawfordsville last week. Haven't laughed so hard in a while. Britta is stage mgr and came home w/flowers last night...can't wait to hear the story behind that! Tell your beautiful mom Sharon I said hello and please give her a hug and kiss from her country friend. Also give Kathleen, Joe and Anshul a hug from me. Keep up your fighting spirit, Andrea. You're an inspiration to all.

So happy to hear Andrea is doing as well as she is! I'm on-call today (7a Saturday -7a Sunday) at the hospital and just got home from an emergency C-section. Everything went well. Now out to the yard, although it's a little rainy outside. I'm just so happy Andrea is home with Anshul and her Mom and her Sister and Dad are coming up there!!!
I sure hope good things happen this weekend and Andrea is getting better every day!!
Anshul, thank you so much for all you do for your wife, my niece. I love you for that! Thank you!!!

OH MY GOSH!! I sent the above message BEFORE reading about the prior contest, or should I say FIGHT, between your Uncle John and Uncle Tom. WHAT AN ABSOLUTE HOOT!!!
I must wax poetic now, like my friends Emily and Robert (Dickenson and Frost) were want to do, and share my feelings of life after death. I've never felt people leave us when they pass away...they merely go to another place (everyone on MY side of the family goes to Heaven). Anyway, it is so reassuring to see that all those who have gone before us and voted for either John or Tom have gone on to another place..... that had COMPUTERS, and someone there to teach them how to BLOG!!!
Honestly, Anshul, this site is too much! I have no doubt it helps in Andrea's recovery, and again, helps keep everyone connected.
Does anyone want to know who I am voting for?

Your "funny uncle's" blogwars keep me laughing and I can tell that their posts as well as the notes from your husband and all your friends, aunts, uncles, in-laws, nieces, nephews and yes, even kittys have done a lot to keep your spirits up while you work hard to get better.
