As you know, Andrea has had pain in her left shoulder and fevers. So, they did an MRI of her arm/shoulder yesterday. Good news is that all those tests came back negative. Bad news is that the tests are negative so that we still do not know what is going on. She had more tests today - a bone scan and another MRI of her head and spine. Hopefully, those tests will be normal as well.
She did again have fevers today and pain in her shoulder/arm. The doctors keep reassuring us that she is on the right path. I think she is, but it is hard to see her in so much pain and so sedated due to the pain meds. She is eating though and the nausea has been mostly under control. She is also going on many walks during the day. Also, her counts keep rising. So, all those factors make me feel a little better.
As I said, I am hoping these tests today come back normal and the fevers/pain start to go down.
More tests today

Hey bhaiya,
It feels sad to know that Andrea has to go through so much pain. But, it's a great relief for everyone to have you with her !! We all know what you are going through as well. But, it's great to see how you take care of Andrea and everyone.
Thanks for giving us regular updates on Andrea's health. We all love you.... and we are all very positive .....that Andrea will be back to normal very soon ......and you both will have a regular life ahead.
Take care both of you,
Love,
Chinu
Anshul, Thank you so much for keeping us all 'posted' on Andrea's 'journey' back to a healthy life. This has been so rough, not only for Andrea but you, my sister and all who love her so dearly.
Andrea is going to beat this demon! It is so sad and at the same time I am so thankful for all that are so loving and attentive. Keep up the spirit! She is going to be alright soon!
Love is the most important nourishment, which Andrea has from many.
Andrea,
I'm so sorry that you're in so much pain. Maybe you could try a little meditation - you know, putting yourself in a more "pleasant" place. Imagine us back in that canoe on Raccoon Lake. Every time we get upright again, your dad gets in the canoe. I don't know why he says that he has nightmares about my maniacal laugh. Doesn't everyone laugh that way? I'm looking forward to getting back out on a lake with you (just not with your dad in the same canoe).
I'm thinking about you and praying for you.
Love,
Aunt Karen
I'm sorry it's been a couple of weeks since I've been in touch, and to see what my dear friends have had to endure breaks my heart. I'm sitting in our local library reading this w/tears streaming down my face. Our home computer is on dial-up (we don't have towers cause we at the edge of town), and it takes sooo long to get on and I was out of town last wkend.
Andrea and Anshul, Sharon, Joe and Kathleen, and all of your blessed family, you remain in my thoughts and prayers. I had met but didn't really know Grandma Taylor, but would anticipate she would agree that God never gives us more than we can handle. Her faith is likely stronger than mine, cause I tend to question Him at times, but He has a plan we just may not understand.
Sharon: I recall my Dad had severe shoulder/arm pain and they found it was due to a clot (I think in his subclavian). I anticipate your MD's have checked that out, but just a thought.
Sharon, I'm also sorry to hear about your Mom and pray that she gets stronger every day.
Anshul, you and Andrea are the definition of what marriage is about...the good times and bad, in sickness and health. I'm confident you'll both have a future filled with health and good times, just around the corner.
Blessings and love to all, Lisa
Andrea and Family. Thinking of you on this beautiful fall day. I hope the docs can get to the root cause of your pain. Love you all - Aunt Joanne
