Tougher day today

Today was a tough day for Andrea. She felt really tired today. It may be because her white blood counts are probably at zero. She was also nauseated much of the afternoon and evening. She tried to go for a walk today, but she got tired very quickly.

Most of the day she took naps and just watched television. Tomorrow, I am hoping her counts may start to rise and she starts feeling better. Her counts won't come back to normal for many days though. She is still at home, however, and so far no sign of infection. The Mangals and Mr. Taylor will be here tomorrow. So, Andrea should have a lot more company around to cheer her up.

Happy Labor Day weekend. Andrea, this will definitely be the toughest job you'll ever have and you're fighting it with all your might, and still with a smile on your face. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing all the pictures. I hope you and Anshul are relaxing outside in your hammock today, Saturday. It's beautiful, sunny yet breezy w/low humidity. Sven and I bought some mums last week and hope to plant them this weekend. We just got back from "Brandywine"...used to be my parents' country place in rural Shelbyville, but now it's my brother's and his wife's. Only a couple of the cousins could make it, but my Mom, 2 sisters and brother, w/Sven and their spouses, were there and we had a typical hilarious time. Sven prefers to stay at home these days, but agreed to go and was glad he did. Sharon, I'm pretty sure you went to Brandywine w/me long ago.

I'm so excited to see your good days appear to be outweighing the bad ones now...it's only a matter of time when all of this will be behind you, Anshul and your wonderful family, and you'll be back to living life to the fullest.

With our love and prayers, Lisa and Sven

Keep hanging in there. Sleep is good. Healthy foods help. Tender care from husband and family are priceless. You are getting closer to the finish line of difficult treatment every day. Hope this weekend keeps you free of infection and full of hope for easier days ahead. Hugs to you all. Ann Shepherd
