Andrea was discharged this morning. I think this was the first time she went home almost in the same condition as she was in when she was admitted. She had no nausea at home today and has really not many problems with it through this past round of chemo. She still does have bone/joint pain which continues to cause her problems. Hopefully, that will get better over time. Below are a few pictures of us leaving the hospital with all the wonderful nurses that have taken great care of Andrea. Also, my brother Vipul stopped by today at the hospital to visit Andrea and he is also in the picture.

She also got a great gift when she went home which was a visit from her Aunt Karen and Uncle Tom from Indianpolis. They mostly just relaxed with Andrea and took a walk with her. It really made Andrea very happy to see them. Andrea has missed her family very much because she has been able to really visit anyone through all this and the visits have really uplifted her spirits.

In all, a good short stay at the hospital and good day overall with some bone/joint pain. I am optimistic that Andrea will continue to have good days at home and she will continue to get stronger.

Hi Andrea, just a quick note letting you know we miss you! Emily and Sam went to a Halloween party last night at the Y. Sam dressed as Captain Underpants and Emily was Jasmine. Lisa was channeling the spirits of Sharon and Mary sewing with a fever one last piece about an hour before the party started! Sam and Lisa have a touch of something but other than that we are all well! Love you! Uncle John
Fantastic! Great news! The Knapes
Andrea- You look great. I am so happy you are home in your nice warm house. We will miss you on Halloween. Christina is turning 13 and Eddie is 18 tomorrow. It is hard to believe. I remember when you were 6 months old jumping in my dorm room doorway in your johny jump up. I was recalling all the great Halloween costumes you and Kathleen had over the years. Your mom was amazing with costumes. I worked at grandma's house today, so tonight I am just going to take it easy. Maybe have a fire. I hope you have a good week this week and get stronger every day. Love, Aunt Joanne
Andrea,
So glad you're finally back in your own home, resting, going for walks and surrounded by those who love you so much. Of course there are so many of us, far away who love you so much and think of you all the time, also. The pictures on the blog sure are appreciated. You keep up that wonderful, strong spirit you have. Love,
