Andrea is at home!

Andrea is safely at home. She is feeling great and no nausea in sight. She was discharged at 1 pm today and had a great day at home. We played with Jaden and Max- our neighbors/friends' kids, took walks, and had some gyros. A great day and one of the best at home since Andrea was first admitted into the hospital.

She felt so good today that she wheeled Mr Taylor out of the hospital.

What a great picture! Andrea and Joe BOTH look so happy! Glad you're at home Andrea and able to visit and eat gyros. I love gyros, especially from Mr Gyros, a little Greek carryout here in Kansas City. You should come and visit....I know, I know, Kansas City is probably not on your list of "must go to" cities for world travelers like you and Anshul are but if you are ever in the neighborhood.... I am close by. In the meantime, Eat up, get down and chill out! Ann Shepherd

hahaha What a great picture :). Lovely !!

Though I wish to see a picture with no wheel chair anymore.

So good to hear and see you so fit Andrea :) Seems the 'recession' is over and your graph of health is back to growth now !!

Enjoy being back at home.

Take care

Andrea,
It's so great that you're up to pushing your parents around again. I'm sure they've missed it. I'm heading to school for a little while to sort out stacks of books and papers that seem to grow faster than my plants.
Have a great day!
Love,
Aunt Karen

Hoo Hoo!!! You're home. Uncle John was thrilled to speak with you! We were all thrilled to hear he did so! What a great picture of the two of you. So good to know that you're feeling better-you really look good. Hopefully a bit of a reprieve from all the stuff. Time to chill and get your strength and momentum back. Will be taking some of the flowers from Ross and Julie's wedding to your dad's house so that he may bring them to you for your garden. They gave everyone a little potted flower as favors. So sweet. You must have some. Love to you all from all of us on S. Muessing. Aunt Lisa, Uncle John, Sam, Emily, and Sunny. xo, xo, oo, xo, meow meow

WOWSERS! YIPPEE - AYEEE. OK, too much Diet Coke this a.m. My heart is smiling as I read your blog, Andrea, and see your and your Dad's smiling faces. I'm sure the extra time at home will make you all the more strong and able to face the rest of your treatments. You already know you can get through this, and whatever else comes your way. Love to you Andrea, Anshul, and all of your family. Lisa and Sven

Andrea and Anshul,

So glad you're home. I went to work today tried to hide it and they sent me home .... I guess I looked pretty bad, know I felt bad. Just need alittle rest. Oh well, guess my acting career is over. I just woke up. Actually feel better.

I'm just trying to write 'everyday' stuff. Oh, one of my chihuahuas jumped off the couch last week and broke her leg. She's better now, just trying to keep her 'quiet'. The surgeon told me 'she's obese and her little legs can't handle the weight' ... she gets no more than my other chihuahua who weighs 5 pounds.

The hibiscus are blooming and look so pretty, the hummingbirds love them and I have so many feeders out for them also. I also have seen two praying mantis, the American's. (They are the 'rare' ones now.) I read about your garden, which sounds so lovely.

I don't use anything but organic stuff in my yard or garden so do enjoy some real 'strange' animals or snakes. I'll write you a funny story about a rare snake that resides around here in another post.

OK Dear Guys, ALL of you, think that is all of the boring stuff I have to write for today.

Soooo happy Andrea, you are home!!!!! It is Andrea's strength and all the love and strength behind her that you are going to beat this!

Oh, by the way, what a beautiful picture of you pushing your Dad out of the hospital ... you and Kathleen corning it up in the hospital bed ... all the pictures your Mom put up for you ... this website Anshul created for you ... all the lovely things your friends and family have posted for you! I love to read them, knowing it is good for your heart and spirit.

What is that saying 'laughter is the BEST medicine'.

OK you guys, enough boring stuff. Laugh much!

Love,
Aunt Deb
