It was a rough rough night last night and terrible day today. Yesterday, Andrea developed some mouth sores and last night they became really painful. She said it felt like someone had shot her in the back of the neck. As a result, she could not shallow anything without a great deal of pain. Additionally she got very nauseated. So, we had a very late night last night and thought today would be better.
Today was even worse. The sores got much worse and she had a fever of 101.6 and possibly an infection. So, we rushed her to the ER and now she a bit more stable. She is still in a lot of pain and she still can't eat or drink becuase of the sores, but it is at least manageable now. She is getting a great deal of antibiotics and pain meds.
Hopefully, these meds will help and she can get out of here in a few days. I wish she could just have one reasonably happy and pain free day at home.

Dear Andrea,
I hope you feel better soon! I Love You! Uncle John
Sending you love and good wishes, Linda (Lisa's sister in Brooklyn)
I'm so sorry that you had such a rough day. I hope today will be better. We'll be thinking of you.
Love,
Aunt Karen
I'm hoping by the time you read this, Andrea, that you'll be feeling better. While it's been a roller coaster between feeling awful and feeling better, I'm confident you'll be back at the top of things, with your arms waving and you smiling and ready to conquer the world.
We have good friends moving from rural Thorntown, to Noblesville in a few weeks, and they are hosting a good-bye party today w/a live Bluegrass band, hog roast, etc. It's raining right now, but hopefully will clear up.
The Dorseys on the other hand will be hosting a "Dorsey" get-together tomorrow. Sven's boys Stanley and Aaron (can you believe they're now 40 and 37 respectively???...hmmm, I guess I can't be 29...er 39 any more. :=) Their families (Aaron has 5 children) and Stan has daughter Krissy, who is married to an Army man and they have a precious 9 month old...that makes us "great-grandparents". They leave in a couple of weeks for 3 years in Germany, so the timing of our get-together is perfect. We'll be taking lots of photos, to be sure. Sharon knows my housekeeping skills are less than ideal (in other words, if the Board of Health came by, they'd board us up, with us inside!!! ), so of course, instead of cleaning, I'm blogging. Again Anshul, thanks for that! Let's just say I've got my priorities straight...or something........
I loved the idea of a friend of yours sending old photos...I have a couple of pics of you and your Mom and Lauren at the Indpls zoo...I think that's when Lauren had some sort of but bite or something around her eye and it's all swollen. I'm sure she'd love for it to be posted for all to see :-)
I know you and family can't take calls, or you'd never get any rest, but know that our thoughts, prayers, smiles for the good days and frowns for the bad are with you. I've got family and good friends praying for you and your entire family too. It's just a matter of time until this is but a memory and you get your life back. Love to all, Lisa and Sven
We're hoping things are better for you today. We're following along with the blog, and hoping you guys get a couple of easier days soon.
Sean and Melissa
Andrea and Anshul,
Thinking of you all and sending my prayers and thoughts of good will!!! Stay strong, baby girl!
Love,
Aunt Deb
