Hi everyone,
I apologize I have been MIA on the blog - I have a big test coming up (IL bar). I wanted to post today because it is big day for Andrea today. She is having a CT-scan and P.E.T.-scan of her chest-abdomen-pelvis. These scans will hopefully show that she either has no cancer left or minimal amounts left. She is extremely nervous and very emotional today. She can use everyone's positive energy, prayers, and thoughts.
I am hoping that the scans go well today and am hoping for positive results.
Edit: The PET-scan has been rescheduled for Monday. Andrea was very upset about that but I am still hopeful for positive results.

andrea - Don't be upset more time for you to study for that test on Monday (ha-ha) I know you will kick its ass. Prayers and good thoughts coming your way. I was glad to read your blog that you had a good week with your family, visiting with your nephew, going to the zoo and walks along the lake - positive energy!!. Good

Sorry that your test was delayed. I know it's hard to wait around. Try to keep your mind occupied to help the time pass more quickly. I understand that there is some "quality" TV programming on this summer. I'll be sending you my thoughts and prayers.

So sorry Andrea, your appt. was rescheduled. I understand your disappointment ... 'easy for me to say' ... I'm sorry. It is now, only 2 days away. Take those two days and try to relax and enjoy you are feeling better, at home. Monday is only 2 days away, you have so many many future GOOD days ahead!
I'm so anticipating hearing, even if in 30 days, GREAT news. I Hate 'waiting' but I know it's coming! It's coming!

By the way, you don't have to apologize for anything. I realize this is a tough time for you, your combined families. You just spend your energy getting better and at this time, yourself! We'll all party later with you.
I loved the pictures, the update on how you got to spend time with Anshul at home, with walks with your father, your mother, trips to the restaurant, etc.
You just 'keep up the Fight! It's OK to let those who love you .... 'understand' ... 'it's not about US, but about YOU!

Hi my beautiful Andrea...it's Sunday evening and I'm visiting at my Mom's in Brown County for a long weekend. We both included you in our prayers at Mass yesterday. I feel the delay for the scan actually is giving the tumors more time to shrink so your pictures will look even more positive tomorrow.
We had a bit of rain Friday night into Saturday morning, but the rest of the weekend has been beautiful. I drove Mom to see some Boxer puppies today...she's ready for another dog, and fell in love w/the "runt" of the litter. She's going to name her HEIDI. The owner is currently bottle-feeding her.
Anshul, best wishes on taking the bar. My daughter Lauren's boyfriend took it and passed it fine, and I'm more than confident that you will too.
Kathleen, you're in our prayers for a safe move. I just want to put my arms around all of you, cause that's what I do best.
