A little better today

Andrea is a little better today relatively. She does not have as much pain in her mouth. Though, she still cannot eat anything because it hurts her to swallow. She is keeping down fluids and does not seem to be nauseated.

She even today a very short walk with Mr. & Mrs. Taylor. Her white blood count is still very low. Yesterday, her count was 0.01 and today it is 0.02. So, it is trending upwards and hopefully they will be back to normal in 2-3 days. I think that she will feel much better as soon as her counts increase. That seems to be what happened after the last round of chemotherapy.

I am hoping she keeps improving, even if it is in small increments. I think she will and hopefully will be able to enjoy a few days at home next week before her next round of chemo.

Dear Andrea Kathleen Anshul Sharon and Joe,

We had such a nice get together today but missed you guys horribly! It has been so nice reconnecting with Andy (your dad's cousin) and meeting his family. They are such a nice family. Andy's wife works with him running his music school He has a son who is nice and brought his Xbox. Sam was in heaven. He also has a daughter that is 8 years old. Emily and she hit it off right away. They were the ones singing for you. I swear they are like two peas in a pod. It rained most of the day so we set up the corn hole game in the garage. We did a few fireworks but the rain kept us away from the fireworks in Greeenfield this evening. Andy and his wife have been so nice to g-ma as well. They are going to go w/ g-ma in the morning. I tried to warn them...but..how can you describe it to someone who has not experienced it. We are having their daughter, Julia, spend the night tonight. We are going to meet them for breakfast before mass. We are thinking of you all and hope you are feeling a bit better. Remember everyone to get enough rest. WE LOVE U! Uncle John, Aunt Lisa, Emily and Sam.

Dear Andrea,

We had a fun time yesterday, but it would have been even more fun if you were there.
Our cousin Andy is quite the guitar player. His family was very nice too.

We were all thinking of you and we do so very often.
Better days are coming soon.

Love,

Uncle Tom

Kisses and and hug.

Hi Andrea.
We took Helen for a ride on the swing at Hooverwood today and I sang Swing Low, Sweet Chariot.Eddie was completely mortified. Helen kind of laughed. I was thinking of a day when you were about 9 or 10. We were all at a Ralph Taylor vacation. You were standing up swinging and singing "We'll Be Back In The High Life Again". Ring any bells? I can see it like it's yesterday.Better days are coming. Hang in. Love you so so much, Mary Helen and Joe
