Today is the last day of Andrea's 5th round of chemo. She has another 2 hours left. Hopefully, she will be going home later this afternoon or evening. This round had been hard, but still relatively better than other rounds of chemotherapy. There were no surgeries and no other complications this time around.
Yesterday, Andrea felt okay. She still had headaches in the morning. She was able to get them under control and had a much better evening. She watched a movie with her sister and Mrs. Taylor. She did have any nausea yesterday though. This morning she seems even better and we are trying to stay ahead of her headaches with medicine. Hopefully, she will not have any headaches today.
Andrea is looking forward to going home and spending some quality time on the hammock.

Hi Andrea and Anshul...by the time you read this, you may have been relaxing at home, or planning to go home in the very near future. I enjoy learning more about you. I saw that you both enjoy dancing. That's actually what Sven and I did on one of our first dates (the first one was breakfast on the banks of Eagle Creek...we worked nights so went after work). But we later frequently went to the "Patent Office" out at the airport...kind of funny, as isn't that (patents) the type of law you're interested in, Anshul? Anyway, dance is wonderful...I'm not much of a dancer, but it's probably the music that draws me to it. Britta has been hired as a FULL time young adult librarian now (was at 32 hrs previously) and is spending the wkend at Lauren's place in Indy as she has a 2 day conference she's going to. I don't think sisters ever realize how important they are to one another until they're older. I know you've been watching alot of movies, but do you ever watch any of those old Westerns on TV? The Rifleman, Bonanza, Gunsmoke? I love them, and I just saw the end of a show called "Red Rider". Never heard of it, but it's an even older Western. Predictable, yet entertaining. Just a thought.
Hey Lisa T, from Lisa D...do you not work at the hospital anymore? What is this about John's academy and your teaching? Sounds fascinating. I did some student teaching many years ago.
Andrea, I'm looking forward to your continued improvement and more time at home in your hammock....with prayers and love, Lisa
We love you Andrea. We celebrated Uncle Tom's 50th Birthday and James's 22nd. It was a beautiful sunny - almost fall like day. We missed you all. Love, Aunt Joanne
I am so glad to hear that the treatments are almost thru. I can not
tell you enough how proud we are for you ,and Anshual and you folks,
Kathleen and for all your family and friends. You have been so brave
through this whole things. How soon can I sign you up for dancing
with the Stars? I know that you would do circles around them.
I hope to soon see pictures of you in your lovely garden on your
hammock. Our Love and Prayers come your way.
