The above is a picture of Andrea with two of the nurses that have cared for her at Rush Medical Hospital. This picture was taken as we left the hospital late afternoon yesterday.
Since then Andrea has felt okay. She developed some mouth sores but they are not nearly as bad as last time. She is still eating and drinking lots of fluids. We had a nice day at home yesterday. We took a walk and watched some TV. We are looking forward to more rest and relaxtion today. This is definetely the best Andrea has ever been at home after chemotherapy. Mrs Taylor and I and Andrea, herself, are working very hard to keep her comfortable. We are hoping no re-admission to the hospital for any infections and so far we are looking good.

Taylor,
I am so happy that you are doing well! It's so weird because I had a dream last night (08/06/09) that you came back to work as healthy as can be. In my dream, you had that great big smile, very bubbly, and excited to see us ALL!
I know that my dream will come true . . .
Love ya,
Adrianna

Hi Andrea,
We are so happy that you're feeling better and finally going home. All I keep thinking is how much you must miss working in your backyard and the lovely flowers you grow.
They'll be back again...just for you!
